Here at Home, Hearth and Magic, I believe we're all just a little bit magical. I believe there's magic in everyday life, if we look for it!  The simple act of living...which is messy, imperfect and beautiful...is magical all on its' own!  Whether you arrived here through a story, a blog post, or a late-night rabbit hole (my favorite!) I hope you find something here that brightens your day, or sparks your imagination!

My Books and Worlds

​My writing journey began with The Magic Within Us, the first book in The Magic Abounds series, a collection of witchy, character-driven stories centered around magic, connection, and transformation.  There are three books in the series currently, with more planned. (I thought I was done, but Helena informed me otherwise.) There will also be a spinoff from the series (called Once Upon a Witch).

My darker work lives and breathes in The Virehnai Chronicles, including my latest release, The Night Shift (March 2026).  This series explores a hidden society of immortals, whose existence in the modern day depends on blood, secrecy and power...and explores what happens when that system begins to fail.  I'm currently working on the next book in the series: Blood Witch, slated for a Fall 2026 release.

The writing and research involved in The Virehnai Chronicles is keeping me busy, and I'm loving it!  I'm doing deep dives into the history of Ancient Egypt...Ancient Sumeria...a period where the Roman Empire had a hard time keeping it's sh*t together, aptly called the "Crisis of the 3rd Century," the Royal House of Basarab, and the intersection of history, myth and magic!

As for me, I currently reside in Seven Valleys, PA in an agricultural area with my husband and three cats.  I love that I can look out my front window, and see horses and deer, and I have a woods and a fairy circle in my backyard, and the whole house basically sits on a giant slab of quartz crystal.  It has a peaceful vibe.  I have two sisters who are also my next door neighbors.  It’s a great set-up...and it doesn't get much better than that!

The number one question I get asked: “Will you EVER do these in audio book form?”  The short answer is, YES. We’re working on it.  I'm narrating the audiobook for "The Magic Within Us" myself right now, and the other books in the Magic Abounds series will follow. 

​"Tales of Blood and Eternity" is currently in production, and "Not Quite Human" will be following shortly after.

TechnoWitch, non-fiction, is currently available on Audible, narrated by the beta version of it’s AI reader.  The link to it is on my “Books” landing page.  Long story short: the narrations are coming!  They'll all be on Audible.com once they're done.

Along with the books, I'm working on creating a deck of Oracle cards with Amelia and planning for a podcast with her where we’ll discuss random topics on magic and living a magical life. Watch this space for more info!

A Little About Me:

​I live in Seven Valleys, PA (York County) with my husband (a musician) and three cats. I'm surrounded by farmland, woods, and I even have a fairy circle. It's peaceful, magical, and the PERFECT place to write. I have a grown daughter named Sam - who patiently gathered up all the errors in the printed versions of the Magic Abounds series, so I can fix them and update all of them.  Thanks, Sam, for your help!  (She also reorganized my kitchen and pantry for me. Apparently, I'm not hopeless.  Every little bit helps.)
